Jennifer Lopez was spotted wearing jean boots from Versace on War ArchivesTuesday, and all I want to know is: Why does JLo hate pants? Or, does she hate boots? It's honestly very hard to tell.

Either way, the otherwise very stylish singer's new footwear raises several important questions, like: What's wrong with keeping jeans and boots separate? Why do the boots need individual belts if they're just going to sag anyway? Why are you trying to hurt the people who love you, JLo? And, whycan't we just leave denim alone?

This is just another unfortunate misuse of denim, of which there have already been several this year. People continue to test denim's boundaries and I personally am at my limit. Clearly no one can be trusted with this textile.

The boots are part of Versace's 2019 Resort collection, but they're currently unavailable on their website, which is probably for the best.

Look, we love you JLo, but these shoes are undeniably bad.
