VR fans will finally wrap their hands around the Oculus Touch controllers starting on Pawan And Pooja (2020) Complete Web SeriesDec. 6 for $199, Oculus announced Thursday.

Oculus Touch, a set of controllers that lets virtual reality users bring their hands inside simulations, was announced in June 2015 -- just prior to E3. The controllers were first promised to arrive a few months after the Oculus Rift release in March, but their release continued to slide later and later into 2016.

The Touch controllers -- as we've talked about -- are essential for getting closer to VR's promise of "presence," the feeling of actually being somewhere else. Their exclusion at Oculus Rift's launch was a huge detractor compared to headsets like the HTC Vive, which includes two wand controllers to approximate hands. The Oculus currently ships with an Xbox One gamepad and a small remote, both of which can be used to navigate inside VR.
